student well-being presentations & PARENT engagement EVENINGS

Sessions designed to engage school communities to foster strong and proactive educational partnerships.

  1. Addiction is a powerful presentation targeting risky behaviour.

There are two sessions: one focusing on middle school (years 7-9) and another on senior school (years 10-12).

Addiction blends real life story and experience with the shocking statistics of Australian youth culture, specific to technology misuse (middle school) and substance misuse (senior school).

  2. The Surviving School Series (Parent Engagement Evenings) is a practical guide to assist parents in navigating their way—and their child’s way—through high school.

Again, there are two very different sessions for middle school and senior school audiences, that provide practical advice and skills for parents to apply as their child experiences the academic, social and emotional challenges associated with early and late adolescence in the contemporary school.

The Surviving School talks focus on adolescent brain development (neuroscience) and contemporary behavioural trends in schools and wider society.
